Description

The inspiration for the creation of this painting comes from Delacroix's 1834 painting "The Algerian Woman", which was Picasso's first time using the work of a deceased master as the source of creation.

In the Algiers Women (o) Edition, the image of a semi naked woman on the left side of the screen is clearly a deformed figure of a classical human body, while the two naked women on the right lie horizontally and stand up. Blue and pink have a special attraction to Picasso, and the segmented human body is filled with these two colors.

From this work, it can be seen that the strong and full color contrast is combined to create a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
