Description

Zhang Guangxing, born in 1961 in Hebei, is a renowned contemporary painter, calligrapher, and ancient philologist. Zhang Guangxing was born into a family of calligraphy and painting. At the age of 10, he followed his uncle to live in the United States and was influenced by family culture. He loved Chinese traditional painting art from a young age and had exceptional talent. In 1972, he became a disciple of the famous contemporary painter Zhang Daqian in Los Angeles and studied Chinese painting for four years under his mentor Zhang Daqian.
