Description

Candlelight "was created in 1984, with a title and visual reminiscence of Richter's iconic" Candle "series of works created between 1982 and 1983, making him one of the most valuable living artists. This work is divided in two vertically from the center, echoing his early famous still life work "Two Candles", and its abstract color layout changes from left to right, faintly conveying the gradual disappearance of flame and light.
