Description

In 1948, David Solinger first saw William DeCunningham's works at the Charles Egan Gallery. He later recalled, "I spent a whole day there. I was fascinated. I couldn't leave." For DeCunningham, Solinger had a keen eye for talent early on, gave DeCunningham comprehensive praise, and regularly visited his studio, establishing a deep friendship between them. Solinger's collection of Dekunin's works for the Whitney Museum and his own collection are all directly sourced from artists.

The collage showcases one of De Cunning's most important creative methods in a dazzling and charming manner, and unleashes a powerful inner abstract power, making it a unique and exemplary masterpiece. Collage "is not only a dazzling and jewel like masterpiece, but also records the iconic techniques in De Cunning's excellent creations in an extraordinary way.
