Li Kuchan (January 11, 1899- June 11, 1983) was born in Li Qizhuang, Sanli Pu, Gaotang County, Shandong Province. His original names were Li Ying and Li Yingjie, with the courtesy name Chao San and Li Gong. He was a modern Chinese freehand flower and bird painter, calligrapher, and art educator.
