Huang Jiannan (1952-), also known as Miaojian, has ancestral roots in Heyuan, Guangdong. He is a famous calligrapher, painter, collector, and appraiser, a national first-class artist, skilled in oil painting and traditional Chinese painting. Presented as a national gift by national leaders to international friends, and collected and awarded collection certificates by the Great Hall of the People, the Zhongnanhai National Gift Center, the General Office of the Central Military Commission, and the Honor Guard of the Three Armies.
