The blue and white circles in the center of the plate depict surging waves as the ground, and the white space technique is used to shallow carve the scales of the whiskers and claws to depict half of the standing dragon on the side. Collection Description: This teapot is unparalleled in the world and is specially made by the imperial kiln for the exclusive use of the palace. It is worthy of the reputation of being a precious blue and white artifact of Yongle. At first glance, holding a teapot may only recognize it as a classic porcelain artifact from the early Ming Dynasty, but it is difficult to understand its rarity. The pot body is exquisitely painted with a five clawed cloud dragon, with round dragon eyes and short hair raised, as if it had just descended from a high altitude, and was about to spread its legs and claws, ready to soar in the clouds. With a graceful and agile posture, the body is set in a peach shaped opening light, yet it feels free and proud to soar. Such dragon patterns were extremely rare before the Xuande Dynasty, but they were quite common in the imperial porcelain of the Ming Dynasty. Therefore, the extraordinary importance of this pot in the history of Chinese ceramic art was not fully recognized in the past. The teapot flow is delicate and graceful, complementing the curved handle, with an overall proportion that is just right and pleasing to the eye.

Collection Description: This teapot is shaped like a metal object, making it extremely difficult to make. Chinese porcelain craftsmen are accustomed to horizontally dividing it into sections, pulling and shaping it one by one, and then combining it into a piece, and adjusting it as needed, rather than molding tools. Therefore, making this teapot is particularly difficult. The body of this vessel is elliptical, the neck is slender, and it is cylindrical like the feet of the vessel, making it difficult to make. However, the intricate patterns on the body make it even more difficult, showcasing the boldness of the porcelain craftsman. Hexagonal star shaped composition, with a concentric circle pattern that progresses layer by layer, requires precise calculation and arrangement, repeatedly considering all angles. The lines start from the center of the circle and need to be straight and aligned. This kind of decoration is seen in the Quran, originally painted on paper with a pen and ruler. Chinese craftsmen took this decoration and did not use a ruler. They only used a brush to directly paint on the belly of a round arched vessel, showcasing the amazing skills of Jingdezhen imperial kiln craftsmen. The finished product is magnificent and magnificent, showcasing the extraordinary creativity of Chinese craftsmen in the 15th century, with their unique craftsmanship and unconventional style.
