Jiangsu Suzhou native, Chinese painter. The original name was Shanyong, with the courtesy name Yongshao, and the names Yong, Hongzhai, Wuliu descendant, and Kemeng Taoist. 2、 In the 1930s, he served as a professor in the Department of Art at Yali University in Changsha, a professor and department head at National Jinan University, a professor in the Department of Art at Henan University, and a professor at National Sichuan University. He also founded Nanjing Art College with Xie Gongzhan, Lv Fengzi, and others. Proficient in landscapes, flowers, animals, and fish, particularly skilled in painting the moonlit night scenery that blends Chinese and Western elements. Member of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History and member of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Artists Association. In 1984, to celebrate his 90th birthday, Shanghai and Suzhou held art exhibitions for him respectively.
