Jia Youfu, born in Suning, Hebei Province, was admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1960. He graduated in 1965 and was under the tutelage of Mr. Li Keran. He used the Taihang Mountains in northern China as his creative base, engaged in landscape painting creation and art theory research.
