Description

Prague Palace is one of the most exciting works of his trip to Eastern Europe. When creating, Fu Baoshi completed the composition from a level view perspective, highlighting naturalness and cleverly managing it. The trees were lush in the close-up view, and the Prague Palace was in the far view, but it was very eye-catching. Looking at his artwork, it is very concise. Apart from Gothic spire buildings, there are only a few strokes of trees, giving a rough idea. Here, on the basis of being faithful to the object of sketching, rigorous selection is made, and under the shade of green trees, the emphasis is on the grandeur of architecture. He uses traditional brushstrokes and Chinese visual concepts to create pure Chinese paintings, yet showcasing authentic European scenery and exotic sentiments.
