The Yuan blue and white jade teapot spring vase was a popular shape in the Yuan Dynasty, basically following the Song Dynasty system, but appearing thicker and fuller than the Song Dynasty. The object has a pursed mouth, a slender neck, a wide round belly, and round legs. The inner edge is painted with a tangled branch pattern, the neck is adorned with banana leaf patterns and auspicious patterns, the abdominal theme decoration is a character story picture, and the foot wall is adorned with auspicious patterns. Using segmented tire making and then bonding with tire mud, the surface of the bonding area often protrudes, giving a sense of unevenness, and the outer wall joint marks are polished. The blue and white tones are elegant and made of domestically produced blue materials. Rich patterns with clear priorities. The embryo is fine white, the glaze is moist, with a slight shimmer of blue in the white, translucent and translucent, but there are also blue and white porcelain that leans towards white or blue. Bottles, jars, and other blue and white porcelain from the mid to early Yuan Dynasty (Yanyou period) were glazed with transparent blue and white glaze. When touched, the glaze was like glutinous rice, with a strong oiliness and unstable hair color.
