Description

The Lujun glazed lantern vase is a classic variety of official kilns in the Qing Dynasty. Lujun glaze was first fired during the Yongzheng Dynasty, named after the low-temperature imitation of Jun glaze in the furnace. It is a noble variety of monochromatic glaze in the Qing Dynasty. The lantern vase is one of the unique shapes of the Lu Jun glazed ware. This bottle has an outward sloping mouth, a short neck, a cylindrical belly, and a circular foot below, with a stable and sturdy shape. On one side of the bottle's belly, there is an eagle carved with gold, while on the other side, there is a character depicted with poetry and prose. The concept is novel and creative. It is actually a representative work of furnace Jun glaze with distinctive features.
