The scroll depicts two mountains (Tiantai Mountain and Yandang Mountain), two cities (Yongjia City and Rui'an City), two rivers (Ou River and Feiyun River), two temples (Shengshou Zen Temple and Baotan Temple), and one sea (East China Sea). The depicted time is around the Bathing Buddha Festival on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month. In the volume, there are 1607 Mongolian and Han people, 494 buildings, and several towers and bridges, as well as 68 boats, 108 livestock, and 87 birds. It is not only an encyclopedia for studying the local social and political aspects of the Yuan Dynasty, but also an important image for studying the Yuan Dynasty painting encyclopedia, with extremely high historical and cultural value. The title of the regular script at the beginning of the volume is "Wang Zhenpeng's Scenic View of the Mountains and Rivers", and at the end of the volume is the official script inscription: "In the spring of Zhizhi Guihai, Mo Lin gave the order to Wang Zhenpeng's painting", with two seals: "Wang Zhenpeng's Seal" and "Gu Yun Chu Shi". Zhizhi Guihai, also known as the third year of Emperor Yingzong's Zhizhi reign (1323). At the beginning and end of the scroll, there is a half seal of the earliest collection seal "Chongzhao".
