Description

Chen Qingcheng (formerly known as Chen Chen) is an internationally renowned artist, a former member of the Art Creation Committee of the China Artists Association, a World Peace Ambassador, the first dean of the Oriental Art Institute of the German China Cultural and Economic Development Foundation, the first recipient of the French Knight of Culture and Art Medal in the field of painting in China, the South African Tourism Ambassador, the Vice Chairman of the German China Cultural Exchange Promotion Association, the founder of the Dimension Theory, and the first person in cultural and artistic exchanges between the East and the West. The Chen family, a painter appointed by the Ruyi Hall in the late Qing Dynasty, and the fifth generation grandson of Chen Zhaofeng, a painter appointed by the court, studied calligraphy and painting with their ancestors since childhood. They obtained a doctoral degree in art and design. During their studies in Europe from 2012 to 2018, they systematically transmitted the charm of Eastern culture to the world, organized more than 100 solo and joint exhibitions, and were elected as the Dean of the Oriental Art School of the German China Cultural and Economic Development Foundation in 2014.
