Description

Li Kuchan was born in a poor farming family in Gaotang County, Shandong Province. He was influenced by the traditional culture of his hometown from a young age and embarked on an artistic journey. Modern calligrapher and painter, art educator. Originally named Li Yingjie, renamed Ying, with the courtesy name Li Gong. Shandong Gaotang people. In 1923, he became his teacher under Qi Baishi.
