Description

"The Peach Blossom Spring Painting" is a representative work of Zhang Daqian's splashing ink and color painting in his later years. It was written in a similar period to the last masterpiece of his life, the "Lushan Painting", which is now stored in the Forbidden City in Taipei, Taiwan. Both are the masterpiece of Zhang Daqian's creative career. By using the technique of scattered perspective in painting, one can see the Peach Blossom Spring, Fisherman Fishing Boats, Rock Caves, vast green mountains, and the Peach Blossom Village behind the mountains. The outer Shuangxi River near Taipei, Taiwan, where Zhang Daqian lives, has become less secluded due to an increase in nearby houses and immigrants. Zhang Daqian felt this and wrote a poem on the painting to comfort himself. This piece of artwork is well preserved and has extremely high collection value, making it worth collecting for collectors!
