Description

Lei Changsheng, born in 1955 in Hanshou County, Changde, is a national first-class calligraphy master and a leading figure in Chinese art. He studied under Li Li and is an important inheritor of the Qi School today, as well as a successor under the White Stone Sect. I am currently a director of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a consultant of the Huangpu Painting and Calligraphy Academy, the director of the Qingfeng Painting and Calligraphy Academy, the director of the Shenzhou Sunshine Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a special calligrapher appointed by the Hunan Collectors Association, one of the three major leaders of the Qi Baishi Art Research Association, and a winner of the Lanting Award for Painting and Calligraphy.
