Description

"Remembering the Gannan Grassland" by Liu Wenxi (October 17, 1933- July 7, 2019) is one of the representative painters of the "Zhejiang School" of Chinese figure painting, the founder of the Loess Painting School, and the author of the fifth set of RMB Mao Zedong portraits. Liu Wenxi's artistic philosophy is: "Familiarize oneself with people, be strict in modeling, emphasize brushwork, and strive for creativity."
