Description

Zhou Li, also known as Mushan, was born in Jiading, Qing Dynasty. He was skilled in painting and learned from the four schools of Yuan Dynasty in landscape architecture. He was also known for his thriving ink and flower industry. The Qing Dynasty praised his works as "far away in business, with a profound and imposing demeanor. Every detail is fleeting, and a thousand layers are stacked together, revealing its own beauty amidst its richness. It is truly admirable at first sight, as it showcases the strengths of the bamboo hat.". In his later years, Zhou Li lived in Yangzhou as a guest. At the age of sixty, he fell ill and passed away. His handwriting has been passed down to this day, but it is rare to see it passed down. "Ink Forest Talk and Ink Fragrance Residence Painting Knowledge"
