Description

Named after its shape resembling a hammer, it is also known as a round hammer bottle. Mainly controlled during the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong reigns. Style, disc mouth, short straight neck, round folded shoulder, cylindrical, long belly, circular feet, with a flat cut two-layer platform at the bottom. Commonly seen are blue and white, colorful, and painted with blue and gold. This pair of shallow relief golden ground dragon patterned stick and hammer bottles was specially fired by Emperor Qianlong for royal unloading. The carving is exquisite and the painting is unique. The main carving is cloud and dragon patterns, with the dragon body painted in gold. The vessel is large and luxurious, showcasing the royal spirit, and is perfectly preserved as new. It is a pair of important Qing Dynasty official kiln artifacts
