This Yuan blue and white pine, bamboo, and plum octagonal jar is 39.7 centimeters high and 15.3 centimeters in diameter. The jar is made of octagonal shape with a white porcelain body and a large and heavy body. Five layers of blue and white decorative patterns throughout the body: geometric patterns on the edge of the mouth; The neck and shoulders are adorned with two layers of floral patterns composed of broken flowers such as lotus, peony, lotus, and autumn chrysanthemum; Tibial decorative variant lotus petal for one week; The abdomen is illuminated to depict the natural scenery, with pine, bamboo, plum, and lotus pond mandarin ducks in sequence, complemented by rolled grass patterns as the main decoration. The same patterns are opposite to each other, with lotus pond mandarin ducks on the front and back sides. The shoulders are sculpted with symmetrical animal head ears, and the animal head is adorned with iron colored spots (with patches along the mouth). The decoration is influenced by the literati painting style of the Song and Yuan dynasties.
