Description
Ji Blue Glaze, the earliest clear record of China's application of blue to porcelain was the Tang Sancai, but at that time it was a low-temperature glaze. Although it looked more splendid, it lacked depth. It was not until the Yuan Dynasty, with the improvement of firing technology, that high-temperature blue glaze began to appear. High temperature blue glaze, also known as Ji blue glaze (1280-1300 ℃ high temperature), has a uniform color and presents a deep sea like blue color, which is unique and charming. Among the entire blue glazed porcelain series, the color of Ji blue glaze is the purest. The origin of the term "Ji Lan" is also because it represents the clear sky after the rain in literature, which not only reflects the blue sky, but also has a beautiful cultural connotation. Since the Yuan Dynasty, Ji blue glaze has gone through three dynasties: Yuan, Ming, and Qing. Each dynasty has its own characteristics, but later generations seem to prefer the blue glaze of the Qing Dynasty. This blue glazed painted gold window pink flower double ear vase has a porcelain height of 41cm, a diameter of 11.5cm, and a bottom diameter of 14.5cm. The design is dignified and elegant, with the bottom style embodying the style of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. It was recorded that a piece of porcelain was listed as one of the ten most expensive pieces of porcelain in China, one of which was exactly the same as the type, tire bottom, and bottom of the porcelain. In 2006, Christie's Hong Kong auctioned a staggering $18002500, which was finally collected by anonymous buyers.
