Description

This Qing Yongzheng Jihong glazed slag bucket has a flat mouth, a trumpet shaped shape, a spherical belly, and a rounded foot with an outward tilt. White glaze is applied internally and Jihong glaze is applied externally, with a very beautiful shape. The bottom foot is coated with white glaze, and there is a six character double line regular script style with blue and white double circles, made in the Yongzheng year of the Qing Dynasty. A scum bucket was a utensil used in ancient banquets to hold meat, bones, and fish bones. This is the highest specification porcelain slag bucket used in the imperial court during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty.
