Description

The auction features an open mouth, a long neck, symmetrical ears on the neck side, a bulging belly, and curled feet, creating a beautiful appearance. The entire body of the vessel is coated with bean green glaze, with a bright and lustrous glaze color. On the glaze, glass white powder is used to pile up plum blossom patterns on both sides of the belly of the bottle, which has a strong three-dimensional effect and is vivid. It is then coated with transparent glaze and fired in one go. The history of porcelain stacking technique can be traced back to the Western Jin Dynasty, and the stacking technique became more advanced during the Qing Dynasty. This bottle has a dignified and atmospheric design, delicate carving techniques, smooth lines, and a rich and lustrous glaze, making it a masterpiece of Qianlong's pile sculpture.
