Starting from Lingyan Mountain, heading eastward from Mudu Town, passing through Hengshan, crossing Shihu Lake, traversing Fangshan, between Jieshi and the two mountains, entering the city of Gusu County, passing through the three gates of Feng, Pan, and Xu, exiting the Changmen Gate, turning around Shantang Bridge, and ending at Huqiu Mountain. According to statistics, there are about 12000 people, nearly 400 ships, over 50 bridges, over 200 shops, and over 2000 houses in the painting. The painting "The Prosperity of Suzhou" depicts the urban style of Suzhou at that time, characterized by the convergence of merchants and the abundance of department stores, in the form of long scrolls and scattered perspective techniques.
