Ma Wanguo, stage name Baohai, born in Qilu, studied at the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now a member of the China Artists Association, a visiting professor of the People's Public Security University of China, a researcher of the Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the Central Museum of Culture and History, a Chinese Charity Artist of the China Charity Federation, a researcher of the Art Research Institute of the Communication University of China, an art consultant of the Dongcheng District Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Beijing, a deputy director of the Innovation and Research Office of the Huaxia Cultural Heritage Chinese Painting Academy of the Ministry of Culture, and a visiting professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shandong University of Technology.
