Description

Sun Yunsheng, also known as Jiarui, is from Ninghe, Hebei. I have a family background and started learning painting from my uncle at the age of nine. I also studied calligraphy from famous artists such as Wang Xizhi, Ouyang Xiu, Su Shi, and Ouyang Xun, and learned to recite modern style poetry from my mother. Later, under the guidance of Wang Xuetao, Qin Zhongwen, and Hu Peiheng, they began to outline ancient landmarks and visited various places in the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. In 1936, Sun Yunsheng became a disciple of Zhang Daqian's Great Wind Hall. He followed Mr. Daqian for 47 years and stayed in Brazil with him.
