Description

The shape of the Chi Er Zun originated from early bronze ware, which existed during the Yongzheng Dynasty and was more commonly seen in the Qianlong imperial porcelain. There are blue and white, pink, and monochrome glazes such as imitation Ru and imitation official glazes, which are highly representative. Due to its resemblance to the head of a deer or cow, it is known as the Deer Head Zun or the Cow Head Zun. Due to the delicate and exquisite shape of the ear, which is similar to several examples of the Yongzheng style, it may be an early imperial porcelain from the Qianlong Dynasty.
