This collection is a glass meteorite. Glass meteorites are natural glass that rapidly condenses after the surface target material melts when an extraterrestrial object violently impacts the Earth. Most of the glass meteorites found on the surface are in the form of blocks, ranging from brown black to light green. Glass meteorites are relatively rare and highly valued by collectors. They are difficult to find, very rare, and have high research value.
