Description

This Qing Dynasty treasure note with a hundred thousand wen is a paper currency issued in the ninth year of the Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty. Due to the proliferation of large denomination copper coins at that time, in order to recover these large coins, the Qing government issued a large number of Qing Dynasty treasure banknotes, with denominations of one hundred thousand wen being the largest and the least surviving in the world. Paper currency is extremely difficult to preserve, and after years of baptism, it is still well preserved and precious.
