Description

The Jiangnan Province made the Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping seven coins and two fen silver coin, which was minted by the Nanjing Mint in the 30th year of the Guangxu reign (1904). The central bead on the obverse of the silver coin is filled with the Chinese character "Guangxu Yuanbao", while the upper end of the circle carries "Jiangnan Province made" and the lower end carries the weight of "Kuping seven coins and two fen". The left and right sides carry the Ganzhi chronology "Jiachen", with the English character "CH" on the "A" and the English character "HAH" on the upper side of the "Chen". On the back of the silver coin, there is a new version of the dragon image in the center, with the English name "Jiangnan Province" on the upper end and the English weight "Kuping Seven Coins and Two Cents" on the lower end.
