Description
This teapot is shaped like a metal vessel, making it extremely difficult. Chinese porcelain craftsmen are accustomed to horizontal segmentation, gradually drawing and shaping, and then combining them into a vessel, and adjusting them as needed, rather than molding tools. Therefore, making this teapot is particularly challenging. The body of this vessel is elliptical, the neck is slender, and it is cylindrical like the feet of the vessel, making it difficult to make. However, the intricate patterns on the body make it even more difficult, showcasing the boldness of the porcelain craftsman. Hexagonal star shaped composition, with a concentric circle pattern that progresses layer by layer, requires precise calculation and arrangement, repeatedly considering all angles. The lines start from the center of the circle and need to be straight and aligned. This kind of decoration is seen in the Quran, originally painted on paper with a pen and ruler. Chinese craftsmen took this decoration and did not use a ruler. They only used a brush to directly paint on the belly of a round arched vessel, showcasing the amazing skills of Jingdezhen imperial kiln craftsmen. The finished product is magnificent and magnificent, showcasing the extraordinary creativity of Chinese craftsmen in the 15th century, with their unique craftsmanship and unconventional style.
