Description

Guan Er Zun was popular during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and its form was taken from the Zunyi people of the Shang and Zhou dynasties. It is ancient, elegant, and dignified, and has been favored by the upper class of the Qing Dynasty. It is commonly seen in six ways, with sharp edges and straightforwardness, and it is not common to respect a round belly like this. And this statue is different from ordinary round objects that can be pulled into shape, and must be connected in blocks. The production process is very complex, so it has very few surviving quantities in the world. In porcelain, the difference between a statue and a vase is reflected in the mouth of the object. Generally, larger standing vessels are called statues, and vice versa. This statue has a similar shape, size, and decoration to the collections of the Nanjing Museum. It has a large body and a graceful posture, making it a typical style during the Qianlong period. The inner wall is coated with white glaze, and the outer blue and white patterns are composed of multiple layers of main and auxiliary patterns, with a total of ten layers. From the mouth to the bottom, there are wave patterns, flower and leaf patterns, entangled branch lotus patterns, Ruyi cloud head patterns, entangled branch lotus patterns, seawater river cliff patterns, Ruyi cloud head patterns, themed entangled branch lotus patterns, wave patterns, and lotus petal patterns. The ears are also adorned with blue patterns. The flower branches are intertwined, the painting is intricate and exquisite, the blue and white lines are clear, the layers are rich, and the brushstrokes are easy and elastic. Drawing such complex patterns by hand with ease is truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The glaze is smooth and smooth, and the glass texture is extremely strong. Observing its blue and white hair color, it is rich and not dazzling, elegant and not dull. Its use of blue and white coloring imitates the effect of Yongxuan Su Ma Li Qing crystal spots, so the pattern is different in depth, with appropriate intensity and layers. The inner feet are relatively shallow, with a six character, three line blue and white seal script style that reads "Made in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty" on the bottom. The Qianlong Dynasty was at the peak of the Qing Dynasty, with a peaceful country and peaceful people. Emperor Qianlong was fond of poetry and books, loved antiques, and had a particular fondness for ceramics. Under his personal supervision, the Qing Dynasty porcelain industry reached its historical peak in both quantity and quality. Its exquisite design, colorful colors, novel patterns, and diverse patterns were difficult for future generations to match. This vessel has a grand momentum, imitating the past without being stuck in it. It not only reflects the ancient characteristics of Emperor Qianlong, but also highlights the prosperity of the Kanggan prosperous era.
