Zhu Yaokui, born in Suzhou city in 1932, Jiangsu Province, came from a family of artists. He is a famous contemporary artist, an outstanding art educator, one of the founders of minority art education in China, and a pioneer of private art design education in China. Its art forms are diverse, mainly oil painting, lacquer painting, sculpture, murals. He has studied under his father Zhu Shijie, Yan Wenliang, Liu Haisu and other masters, advocating the concept of "great art", and is an important promoter of art education in new China.
