Description

In the 38th year of the Republic of China, Guizhou Province produced a one yuan silver coin, commonly known as "bamboo coin", with a round window plate. The production time was only over a month, and the casting amount was thin. It is one of the top editions in the province's coin making industry and is famous all over the world. The handling marks of this product are uniform, with gun gray as the main color, and a faint olive luster can also be seen throughout the body. The front of Guiyang Jiaxiulou is like the Guizhou Automobile Coin designed in 1928 with a secret inscription. This coin has a small "Gu" character on the door, referring to the surname of Gu Zhenglun, the then chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Government. And "TLK" appears in uppercase font below it, integrated with the foundation of Jiaxiu Building, some say referring to the name of the sculptor. Guizhou bamboo silver coins have a very small amount in existence and are among the top treasures in silver coin collection.
