Description

Fujian Official Bureau made Guangxu Yuanbao (privately minted coin). The obverse dot circle of the coin is engraved with the words "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese and Manchu, with five characters "Fujian Official Bureau made" on the top and six characters "Kuping seven coins and two cents" on the bottom, and flower decorations on both sides. On the back, the coiled dragon is centered, with the outer circle in English and engraved with Arabic numerals "7" and "2", and small floral decorations on both sides. This coin not only has a unique surface design, but also its casting technology is the most excellent variety among all the Longyang silver coins of the late Qing Dynasty. Its casting quantity is limited, and it experienced multiple wars at that time, so its current circulation in the ancient coin circle is even less, and it has a considerable collection value.
