Description

In 1911, the Tianjin Mint General Factory of the branch attempted to mint coins, but they were not issued and the amount of coins was scarce; The sample coin series was initially cast with a steel mold, with a delicate and clean bottom, full of pressure, sharp edges and horse teeth, and dragon scales appearing. The body was coated with thick ink and heavy colors, and the unoxidized part had strong silver light, which was well preserved. The PCGS SP62 "Xuan San" Qing Dynasty silver coin series included three types of decimal silver auxiliary coins: five jiao, two jiao, and one jiao, with inscriptions indicating two coins, five coins, and ten coins for one round. The back pattern is "standing dragon", with the dragon ball located in the upper left corner rather than the center or bottom, which is very rare in Dragon Silver. Due to the convention of issuing new currency with the main currency first, it was planned to follow up after the circulation of the new one yuan national currency. However, the sudden outbreak of the Xinhai Revolution prevented the mass production of silver coins. Among the few silver coins, Wu Jiao is the rarest. From its carving style, the sculptor should be George, the author of Qu Xu Long, and the sculptor of Er Jiao and Yi Jiao dragon noodles should be Yu Zizhen.
