Description

This coin is a silver coin from the Mint and has a high reputation among the silver coins of the Qing Dynasty. It is mainly due to the beautiful artistic shape of the dragon, its majestic momentum, its soaring clouds and mist, and its exquisite craftsmanship. It can be said to be a peak in the silver coin minting of the Qing Dynasty. The number of silver coins minted remains relatively small, which cannot be compared to other silver coin mints. The central bead circle on the front of the silver coin is engraved with the four characters "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese. The four characters "Mint General Factory" in Chinese are engraved on the outside of the bead circle, and the value of the coin "Kuping Seven Coins and Two Fens" in Chinese is engraved on the bottom. On the back of the silver coin, there is a five clawed dragon pattern engraved inside the central bead circle. The upper end of the bead circle is inscribed with the Chinese character "Made in the year of Guangxu", and the left, right, and lower rings are inscribed with the English character "TAI CHING TI-KUO SILVER COIN.", which is translated as "Qing Empire Silver Coin" in Chinese. Clear appearance, well preserved and highly collectible, with a seasoned and well preserved appearance!
