Description

Doucai is a type of colored porcelain that combines underglaze blue and white with overglaze color. It first appeared during the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, and the true fighting colors matured during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. There are generally three to four types of Chenghua glaze colors, with many reaching six or more, and the colors are relatively bright. It is made by using blue and white materials to double draw the contour lines of flowers, birds, animals, and figures on the porcelain body, applying transparent glaze, firing at high temperature in the kiln, then filling the glaze with colored materials, and then firing at low temperature in the kiln. Doucai porcelain mainly consists of small cups, bowls, and high foot cups, with fewer large pieces of porcelain. This product series features the character story "Tian" in the shape of a jar. Three sets of double circles on the can body, dividing it into three sections from top to bottom, with Ruyi flower cloud patterns on top; In the middle, there are four groups of characters, each with two characters. Each of them holds a magical tool on the waves, and the characters are lifelike. "The Eight Immortals cross the sea, each displaying their divine abilities," bringing a sense of auspiciousness; Below are sea wave patterns. Two sets of double circles with bottle caps and one set of single circles, depicting clouds, seawater, bats, and the sun. This jar is unique to the body and glaze of Ming Chenghua porcelain, combined with the painting style of Chenghua dynasty porcelain. The unique Chenghua dynasty's vibrant purple and yellow green colors are delicate and clear; The bottom of the loach's back is trimmed neatly, and the junction between the body and glaze is naturally red with flint.
