此十八臂观音，俗称千手观音，泛指多臂之意的各种法相，是根据信奉者祈愿而塑造雕琢而成，此十八臂观音，左右臂自上而下手握宝物法器，面部刻画细腻，容颜丰腴而端庄，五官秀润而慈祥，双眼凝神静思，工艺精湛。雕塑层次分明形象大度美观，衣纹深而洗练，釉面光泽莹润，背刻何朝宗葫芦印，清乾隆《晋江县志》载＂有何朝宗者，善制陶像，人争宝之＂他的作品吸收泥塑，木雕，石刻造像的技法结合徳化瓷土质，博取各家之长，形成明代独具一格的何派艺术，何朝宗款佛具有开创性的意义，深受世界各地收藏爱好者的追捧，拍卖市场价格极高。
