何镇强，1937年出生，广东肇庆人。1957年考入中央工艺美院（清华美院前身），期间受到齐白石、李苦禅等国画泰斗点拨教导。1962年毕业后留校任教。与常沙娜、吴冠中、张仃等同为清华美院元老教授，是新中国设计艺术学科重要奠基人，也是新中国初代的殿堂级艺术家，美术教育家。擅工艺美术，是“中国室内设计终身成就奖”的获得者。被誉为“中国室内设计效果图第一人”。

Description：
He Zhenqiang, Professor, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University. He was born in Zhaoqing, Guangdong in 1937. In 1957, he was admitted to the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (the predecessor of Tsinghua Academy of Arts and Crafts), during which he was instructed by Qi Baishi, Li Kuchan and other Chinese painting masters. After graduation in 1962, he stayed in school to teach. He, like Chang Shana, Wu Guanzhong and Zhang Ding, is a senior professor of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, an important founder of the discipline of design art in New China, and also a palace level artist and art educator in the early period of New China.
