此品形如斗笠，故称为斗笠碗，其造型古朴优雅，青花浓淡有致，笔触规整流畅，器内外壁青花绘十八罗汉图，碗心饰佛字，十八罗汉人物描写气韵传神，形态各异，纹饰层次丰富，给人以典雅古朴的艺术风采，底部青花竖写“大明万历年制”两行六字款识。十八罗汉是指佛教传说中的十八位永驻世间护持正法的阿罗汉，有十六位罗汉加二位尊者而来，寓意坚如磐石，清净修心，神态自若，安详瑞气。The shape of the bowl is like a bamboo hat, so it is called a bamboo hat bowl. Its shape is simple and elegant, and its blue and white are thick and light, and its strokes are regular and smooth. The blue and white painting of eighteen Arhats on the inside and outside of the bowl is decorated with Buddhist characters in the center of the bowl. The description of the characters of the eighteen Arhats is vivid, with different shapes and rich decorative levels, giving people elegant and simple artistic style. The blue and white painting on the bottom is two lines and six characters of "the system of the calendar of the Ming Dynasty". The eighteen Arhats refer to the eighteen Arhats in Buddhist legend who always stay in the world to protect the Dharma. There are sixteen Arhats and two venerable ones, implying that they are as firm as a rock, pure in mind, self-confident and peaceful.
